1.Who we are

MK Financial is not an insurance company. We help people who are shopping for life insurance connect with licensed insurance agents who can explain their options and prepare quotes. Any policy you ultimately purchase is issued by an insurance carrier, not by us.

2.Information we collect

Information you give us

When you fill out our quote form, you provide:

• Contact details — your full name, email address, and phone number.
• Eligibility details — your age, the state you live in, whether you use tobacco, your coverage goals, and who you would name as a beneficiary.
• Health information — any medical conditions you choose to disclose so an agent can identify which carriers and products fit your situation.
• Your consent choices — including the exact consent language shown to you and the time you submitted it, which we keep as a record that you agreed to be contacted.

Please share only what is needed to get you a quote. Do not send us Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, or copies of identification through our website forms.

Information we collect automatically

• Device and usage data — IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, the pages you view, and the date and time of your visit.
• Referral and campaign data — the page that referred you and any campaign parameters in the URL, such as utm_source, utm_campaign, fbclid, and gclid. These tell us which ad or link brought you to us.
• Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 6.

3.How we use your information

• To connect you with a licensed insurance agent and prepare a personalized quote.
• To contact you by phone, text message, and email about your request.
• To verify the information you submitted and keep a record of your consent.
• To operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve our website and forms.
• To measure how our advertising performs and to reach people with similar interests.
• To comply with legal obligations, including insurance and telemarketing rules, and to enforce our Terms and Conditions.

4.How we share your information

We share your information in these situations, and no others:

• Licensed insurance agents. The agent assigned to your request receives the information you submitted so they can contact you and quote your coverage.
• Insurance carriers and their underwriters. If you decide to apply for a policy, the information needed to process that application is shared with the carrier you choose.
• Service providers. Vendors that run our business on our behalf — website and form hosting, our CRM, text messaging and email delivery, call handling, analytics, and advertising measurement. They may use your information only to provide services to us.
• Legal and safety. When we are required to by law, subpoena, or regulator, or when needed to protect the rights, property, or safety of MK Financial, our customers, or the public.
• Business transfers. If our business is sold, merged, or reorganized, your information may transfer as part of that transaction.

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not share it with unaffiliated companies for their own direct marketing.

5.Text messages and calls

When you check the consent box on our form, you agree that MK Financial and the licensed agent handling your request may contact you at the phone number you provided — including by automated dialing system, prerecorded message, and SMS text message — about your insurance request.

• Consent is not a condition of purchase. You can still get a quote by calling us directly.
• Message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to any message to opt out of future texts, or HELP for assistance.
• Your mobile phone number and your SMS consent are never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their marketing purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data is not shared with any third party except the vendors that deliver our messages.

To stop phone calls, tell the agent on the call or contact us using the details in Section 12.

6.Cookies, pixels, and advertising

We and our vendors use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to keep the site working, understand how it is used, and measure our advertising. This includes advertising and analytics tools such as the Meta (Facebook) pixel and Google analytics and ads tags, which may set their own cookies and receive information about your visit.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though parts of the site may stop working correctly. You can also opt out of interest-based advertising through optout.aboutads.info and optout.networkadvertising.org. Most browsers also send a Global Privacy Control signal, which we honor as an opt-out of sharing where the law requires it.

7.How long we keep your information

We keep the information you submit for as long as needed to provide the Services and then for as long as required to meet our legal, insurance, and recordkeeping obligations — including proof of your consent to be contacted, which telemarketing rules require us to retain. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information, including encrypted connections on our website and access controls on the systems that store it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9.Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Know what personal information we have collected about you and how we use and share it.
• Request a copy of that information.
• Correct inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your information.
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of your information, and limit the use of sensitive personal information.

California residents. The California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, gives you the rights listed above. The health information you choose to give us is treated as sensitive personal information, and we use it only to provide the Services you asked for. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA.

Other states. Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws — including Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon, and others — have similar rights, including the right to appeal if we deny a request.

To exercise any right, contact us using Section 12. We will verify your identity before acting, usually by confirming details you already gave us. You may use an authorized agent, and we will ask for proof of their authority.

10.Children's privacy

The Services are intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11.Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice. Your continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
